Matt Pond PA Are Not Spring Fools

I've been a fan of Matt Pond PA for as long as I can remember. They've put out so many great records over the year and their latest EP, Spring Fools is no different. This downright, upbeat record is a fabulous slice of summer time pop that jangles its way across the five songs that make it up.

From the jittery jumpy pop of the angsty, "Love To Get Used," to the rather laid back, "Spring Fawn," Matt Pond PA deliver the goods with a smile on it's collective field. It's good stuff and seems to demonstrate the bands ability to branch out when they see fit. Not usually quite as, "happy," Spring Fools puts the band in a whole different light and it's a light that I'm glad they turned on. Nice work guys.
