John Eye Blends It All Together

John Eye's single, Cannonicus 3.14, is a heavy electronic record that jumps around genre's like kids in a hopscotch match. With heavy guitars, spoken word, dubstep influences, industrial vibes, and a general sense of the impending apocalypse Eye wastes no time in bringing old influences bang up to date and showing new influences the joys of the past. Perhaps sounding a bit like a less metallic Fear Factory and at times sounding like a more metallic Ministry, John Eye lays it out all on the table as if he were playing 52 pickup.

With several mixes to choose from and even traditional Native American sounds, this intense single is something to behold. Not only do you get to hear modern interpretations but you get to hear the centuries old original versions of where this all came from. It's an impressive crossroads of influences, curiosity, and creativity combining to make for one of the more original and entertaining singles/artists around today. Needless to say Cannonicus 3.14 is an excellent and fascinating culture clash that works on every level.
