Black Boy Rockin It Rock Three The Hard Way

As if to thumb their nose at convention, Black Boy Rockin It lay all their cards on the table right off the bat. With a name that pretty much tells their story, this power trio crank up their amps, turn them up to ten and just rock with raw power. Their five song EP, Three The Hard Way, is an unrefind blast of punk, metal, and straight ahead rock and roll.

In listening to the record one can't help but compare the songs to so many of the early 80's metal bands that ruled the streets of Los Angeles. Listening to Three the Hard Way is like listening to Black Flag in a fight with a very young Motley Crue; a combination of thrashy guitars, crunchy riffs, throaty hoarse vocals, and an overwhelming sense of being tossed around in a mosh pit like you were an ingredient in a salad. This is raw unbridled rock and roll and it will kick you in the behind...that folks, is the way it should be and that's why Black Boy Rockin It are awesome and Three The Hard Way is a neck breaking good time.
