Loga Ramin Torkian Creates A World of Coexistance

Iranian born composer and multi-instrumentalist, Loga Ramin Torkian creates middle eastern soundscapes that are as vast as the Arabian Desert and as lush as the palaces of sultans long since past. His latest album, Mehraab, is a fantastic trip to Arabia and invites the modern voice of Persian classical music, Khosro Ansari along for the ride. Together they create a mystical world that sounds so far away from the bustling city life of North America it's easy to get lost.

Mehraab is an emotive, imaginative, and widescreen album that's easy to let your imagination run wild in. This is an album that is in tune with the ancient musical traditions of Persia as well as the modern "classical" sound of Iran. The result is a windswept and exotic record that crosses borders, cultures, ideals and illustrates the universality of music.

Loga Ramin Torkian has created an epic masterpiece of mystery and wonderment and Mehraab is the sort of record that will give you goose bumps because of how adventuresome it is. Mehraab, which means shrine, serves as one for all; it is a sanctuary in which all who listen can be united in peace.
