Mungolian Jetset Gave It All Away And Now They're Taking It Back

Mungolian Jetset's double disc, We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Backis completely free of Mongols but not of beautiful, delicious, and delectable beats. This epic set of reworks, collaborations, mixes, and original material is an awesome journey into the chilled out, tripped out world of psychedelic ethno dance music. Featuring just about every kind of artist including, Lindstrom, Shortwave Set, and LSB this is a record where the creative juices flow and beats never seem to end. It's truly awesome stuff that has a global feel to it and never seems to lose sight of it's desire to be original.

We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Back's two disc's are packed with nearly 120 minutes of music and not one single minute of that time is wasted on fluff or filler. Instead, what you get is a thousand nights out rolled into one giant monumental night in. We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Back is delightful stuff that's mystical, ethereal and otherworldly. It's an album of time and space and the dimensions in between. While not four to the floor techno, the blissed out worldy rhythms that make up this record are a constant reminder that your feet will shuffle to anything that's truly emotionally moving.

Mungolian Jetset are not from Mongolia, in fact after listening to We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Back they might not even be from earth. From the throbbing haziness of "Big Smack and Flies," to the upbeat Middle Eastern rhythms of, "Clairevoyage," the Jetset embark on a journey that will expand your mind and body and leave you with a sense of just how a beat can move you. The mysticism that permeates much of We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Back has never sounded so good and makes We Gave It All Away, Now We're Taking It Back a spiritual journey that never ceases to amaze. Highly recommended stuff.
