Kennedy Knows Life Is A Party

Singer/songwriter Kennedy is an artist who dances to the reflection of his own disco ball. This is a guy who might have that singer/songwriter tag attached to his name but he truly believes life is nothing but a party and the acoustic guitar that he's supposed to carry everywhere was trampled on the dance floor a long, long time ago. Kennedy's latest album, the oddly named, Life Is A Party is a high energy non-stop record of and debauchery and potential illegal activity.

Strattling the line between pure pop, house, electro, and indie rock, Kennedy's songs are just about too drunk to care what they are. It's pretty obvious that he doesn't care either because he and his songs are simply here to have a good time and make sure you do as well. They do a pretty darn good job as Life Is A Party is a fun, carefree stumble from dance floor to party and from party to dance floor with songs that are sticky, gooey, sugary sweet treats.

How good is this record? Well once you hear Kennedy slide across the dancefloor with champagne glass and microphone in hand it's all over, as you'll want to do nothing but join this guy and become part of his crazy life. And what a life it is. It's all about partying, girls, having no money in the bank, going insane, and just trying to stay alive. All in all just another day in the life of Kennedy. His mama may have made him a pimp, but his life is nothing but constant hedonism and Life Is A Party is a tribute to that lifestyle.

Life Is A Party is a fantastic record that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. This is a party record that's going to make you move and if your booty don't move than you must be dead because this record is just non-stop groove after sweet non-stop groove. Uncomplicated, and ridiculously addictive Life Is A Party is a one way ticket to having a hangover on a Monday morning.
