Take some funk, jazz, and hip-hop mix it like gumbo and there you have Crown City Rockers. Weaving around genre's like a race car on a test track, Crown City Rockers take on just about every sort of style imaginable and come up with a soulful sound that's as groovy as it is chilled and as good as it is hot. Judging by the five song album sampler for, The Day After Forever this is one record that's truly got it all and isn't afraid to show it.
Ducking and dodging clichés by the dozen, the Rockers are diverse enough to drop a rhyme and then follow it up with a bar groove that sets the mood. The Day After Foreversounds as if it could very well be the soundtrack to your Friday and judging by the five tracks on the sampler, The Day After Forevershould be an amazing groove-laden record that's as at home in the living room as it is at the club. From the hip-pop grooves of, "Clap Your Hands," to the slick and soulful, "Go Away," Crown City Rockers clearly know how to pack out the dancefloor or create an atmosphere. With that being said, if this sampler is anything to go by then I would highly recommend checking out The Day After Forever and making it part of your weekend as soon as possible.
