Who Made Who The Plot

Denmark natives Who Made Who are made up of a trio of musicians who manage to take post punk and blend it successfully with funk and Italodisco into a dizzying cocktail of rhythm. It’s just a strange enough combination to work and their second album, The Plot as a result comes off as a fresh take on the whole punk funk disco mayhem thing that was huge a couple of years ago.

Who Made Who sound like A Certain Ratio, the Talking Heads, VHS or Beta in a car wreck with the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and Gang of Four. It’s like the best post punk disco party record ever recorded. It mixes it’s seriously funky moments with plenty of hands in the air cheesy bits and basslines so well that it’s almost impossible not to move to this record. The Plot is such a busy record that it doesn’t stay still for very long and it genre hops so much it’s almost impossible to pin down at times. From electro to disco to funk to post rock and then back again The Plot is truly all over the place in the best way possible.

The Plot is a quirky enough record to keep listeners guessing and goofy enough to keep them dancing and that’s why this record succeeds. Whether it’s the surf rock disco influences of, "Trickster," or the choppy rock and roll electro of , "This Train," The Plot is a boisterous record that your feet will have difficulty forgetting.

In the span of thirteen songs Who Made Who have madeThe Plot everything a dance record should be; groovy, cheesy, quirky, and most importantly fun!
